2026 Microsoft MVP Summit

Shaun Walker shared some insights from the Microsoft MVP Summit which he attended last week in Redmond, Washington. He also discussed the .NET 11 roadmap and highlighted some notable items including Microsoft's plan to provide feature parity for Blazor Server-Side Rendering and MVC. The .NET 11 roadmap is public and can be accessed here.

Roadmap

Shaun Walker shared a diagram of the Scale-Out architecture which will be the focus of the 10.2 release. The diagram can be accessed here. He also mentioned that the 10.2 release is expected in Q2 2026.

Demonstration

Leigh Pointer presented his Oqtane AI Playbook which provides governance for developing Oqtane extensions. Leigh has invested considerable time documenting Oqtane's unique conventions in markdown files which can be consumed by AI so that provides the best possible output for software developers.
